BTW, it's all done in traditional media (no CG was used).
The concept is the fusion of Oriental (manga style, Japanese/Chinese motifs) and Western (marbling technique) styles.

This is the first experiment done a few weeks ago with different materials: water colours, acrylics, Copic markers and pastels. I was testing how each material goes with each other on B4 size Arches paper. That's why it looks so messy.
All the yellowish parts are in gold acrylics. It's a pity that the monitor doesn't show it.

Finishing was done with glossy coat spray.
