Actually that's a part of an illustration I'm working on. There will be 4 or 5 pics for this series. I can't put up the whole picture yet, so for now, just a preview.

That's gorgeous. I love the flower. It's so pretty. I like how you outlined it. Nice idea. =P
The hair, eyes, face, everything looks stunning. The streaks in the hair are so pretty.
I can't wait to see this finished. It's amazing so far.

I love the eyes! They really stand out due to the bright green. I love the swirly patterns everywhere as well. The eyes almost overwhelm the rest of the picture as I'm consistantly drawn to those colors. The peony becomes second to those eyes. The whole piece gives me the impression of a daydream or perhaps a longing for something as the girl just seems to stare out directly at the viewer, but she doesn't give me the impression that she is looking at me... perhaps through me to something else. Out of everything, the hand seems to be a little out of place. Maybe if you added a little more color, like the softness in the face, to the fingernails or just dulled down the solid line around them it wouldn't look so awkward to me. But it's a beautiful piece which is quite impressive due to the softness of the image and the level of detail. Keep it up! :-)
